As a small business, it is important to us that everything we create is made with sustainability in mind.

We know that this has become a bit of a buzzword in the fashion industry, but we work hard to ensure that nobody loses out in our desire to look good.

This starts with the people who make our products. These artisan seamstresses craft everything by hand and receive a fair wage for their hard work. While this takes longer than traditional clothing manufacture, it has the least impact on the environment, enabling us to be responsible in our slow fashion efforts.

We regularly visit our factories, ensuring that our employees are working in a suitable environment that does not impact on their health and enables them to take pride in their workplace. We use the most sustainable materials available, with much of our fabric coming from designer deadstock, helping to reduce waste in the high-end fashion industry.

The final step for sustainability ends with you, our customer. We want you to wear these pieces as often as possible, making each design a true feature in your life. When the lifespan of your Amiah-Rae garment is finally over, we encourage you to return it to us, so that we can reuse or recycle the material as appropriate.

We only have one planet and how long it lasts will depend on how we treat it, which is why Amiah-Rae is always looking for new and innovative ways to boost our sustainability credentials.
